Job Responsibilities:
- Serve customers by identifying their needs and facilitating engineering adaptations of AMA products and systems for off-highway vehicle applications, including steering columns, operator seats, hydraulic cylinders and tillage components.
- Establish new accounts and generate new revenues by identifying potential customers, planning and organizing sales call schedules.
- Identify current and future customer product requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers.
- Visit potential and existing customers and maintain continuous engagement with our customers’ personnel. Travel: 50%+ of time.
- Provide product technical and engineering information by promptly answering customer questions and requests.
- Prepare product and tooling pricing estimates and final quotes by studying blueprints, specifications, application requirements, and related customer documents, consulting with engineers, purchasers, and other professional and technical personnel within AMA, customers’ and suppliers’ organizations.
- Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Aid in trade show planning, attendance, and support
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of customers, multiple inquiries and projects
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written skills
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and superior attention to detail.
- Candidates for this position must be highly motivated, tenacious, self‐starters and with the ability to work independently by being self-motivated.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Technical degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Experience in the Agricultural, Construction, Material Handling vehicles industries, both OEM and aftermarket
- Fluency in Italian a plus
